H2H Series and questions

This reminds me of the time I dropped my truck off to have some work done. I couldn't pick it up until around midnight, so instead of calling and leaving me a voice mail, they left a nice note on the seat that stated that the keys were under the floormat:hmmm:

How long is the wayway race? I may try and get my fat behind into this race, but want to make sure I don't make a fool of myself. Is there a Cat 3 "Husky" class 😉

Wayway Will be the first race ever for me & Tommycrash is also gonna do his first race ever there. Seems like there will be plenty of us in cat3 who are new to racing....kind of a relief for me to know...should be for you too. We'll all figure it out together.

Awesome guys! I think you will have fun.

I also keep my key near the car. Last week I was running behind and forgot to close my drivers door, stashed the key though. I was lucky nothing was gone, compay car with company laptop in the back.
I unintentially tested the safety of Kittatinny tonight. I went for a 2-hour ride unknowingly with the front windows wide open and door unlocked with all my work stuff in it. When I returned from the ride I was like holy crap and checked to see if anything was missing and everything was there. So conclusion is it is a pretty safe park. No scumbags hang out there. Just families, dog walkers, and I saw Jeff Lenowski ride bike with his son on his bike and his daughter in tow.

Well now all that's left is 2 find someone 2 hold my keys and phone...and figure out how much its gonna run me total with parking and fees.

Just run your purse. 😉

Check how deep the payout is, you should be able to cover your expenses. :getsome:

All this safety talk reminded me of my first ride back after many years that happened to be at wayway. I was thinking of so much other stuff that I left my sliding side door to the mini van open with my wallet and keys on seat, gps on dash and so on. I think it was the thanksgiving day ride 2 years ago and there were TONS of people there, almost like a race. When I got back and saw it open I was like "OH NO" and thankfully nothing was touched. I had been away from the mtb scene for so long and it completely restored my faith in the overall good vibe in mountain biking. Of course, I don't recommend doing this intentionally but it is great to know.

There is the old saying,"have faith but tie up your camel".

Yes you can get the License on race day but if you do it on Bikereg.com everything is cheaper and you get a t-shirt.

And yes on all the other stuff.
