Hartshorne/Huber Conditions

I did 12 miles at Hartshorn yesterday. A little bumpy front the foot/paw traffic, but, a great fat bike ride was had!!

perfect conditions today. dry, fast and frozen
Wet, very wet.
I didn't ride today, but, it rained last night, on frozen trails still covered with snow. Then it got to 45*..... probably will need a few dry days ( also these nights can't get too cold, or the freeze/thaw cycle will turn everything back to mush).
Anybody try to ride here lately?

Next off the Island.
Not me, but i live local. IMHO, the latest rain melted all the snow. But with the freeze thaw cycle, its probably still a little wet.
So, if you go when its below freezing, You should be fine.
Its good. There is no ice and freezing temps and steady winds have removed freeze thaw issues. The ground is basically freeze dried right now.

Next off the Island.
They were 95% good today. early tomorrow will be fine. It might get soft as the temps rise.
Definitely soft in the sunny spots. Huber was in better shape for sure. Another day or two of sun and it'll be golden.
Got out yesterday afternoon with Bob and Chris.. I filmed a bunch of it. so decided to make a trail report video..
For the most part is was damp-ish hero dirt. but some spots were mud-ish and had been rutted out from the weekend.. ( rained a little today, so I'd expect these trails to be slightly wetter than in the video)
oh and there is a tree down on laurel mid downhill of the red dirt climb/descent ...

Rode most and it's hero dirt. Didn't do Huber woods though.

Trails in good shape yesterday morning. Mostly frozen, with some softening spots and plenty of frozen ruts .
Does anyone know what this is and where the trail goes? Near the water tower is this barrier with a ‘gate’ . The trail continues on the other side. Private property I guess?
