I do. First time replaced battery the plastic came out with the screw.My Garmin dual HRM has been pretty good. It’s lasted a while. I don’t use it indoors. And the key to not stripping the screws is to use an actual torx t5 bit. (Some are Phillips head and you need to use the recommended size for them too ).

WD-40 on the contacts. Keep it clean and dry. Mine have lasted years.well wahoo support sending me a new one so i guess we will keep going with this one
I had the same issue with my polar. It killed batteries in weeks.I bought the Polar one, which was working fine until I had to replace the battery. Did not work after swapping out the battery, but looking online it seems possible to slightly bend the electrical contacts when inserting the new battery, so I carefully tweaked those and got it working again. Now after only a few rides it's showing a low battery alert.
