Hey All, New to MTB

Hey, Just wanted to say Hi to everyone. New to MTB. I have been exploring around the last couple of months on my pos Mongoose, well it's cool it got me into the sport. Just got home from buying a 09 Cannondale F7. Best I can afford right now. Wow, what a difference. Now I can't wait to go ride!

yo Bob, where did you get your bike???

If you are a new guy, try to hook up with the Allaire beginner rides on Tuesday evenings. They only go as fast as the slowest rider and are well overseen by folks who know whats going on. No pressure, come out and ride your bike on some great trails and meet a ton of positive people.
 
I got my bike at Mt Holly Bicycles on Rt 38. Great Folks. Thanks for the info, I will have to check out the Tuesday rides.

Hi there,...I think I started with a sting ray,........now,....I have 2 sheds for bikes. It will get under your skin!

I have the same bike and love it....it is a great starting point as is the Tuesday night rides.We had a 42 person train last night it was a blast you will be able to pick up hints from the more seasoned riders who are on the rides as well as Frank who is the ring leader...plus you get a great tour of the park which is always a good thing.

Hey Bobby...from your neck of the woods....or should I say PINES.. Have you ventured out on the trails by Country Lakes? Or what about Wharton. I"m thinking of checking Wharton out this weekend.....

I live further south but ride the trails in Lebanon State Forest(BB State Forest) and Wharton State Forest.

I plan to ride Wharton early on Sunday morning. Plan to be in the parking lot before 9AM if you are interested.

If you plan to ride from the Batsto parking lot be advised that there is a $5charge to park from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Hey John, thanks for the invite. I don't have all my gear yet, but would like the opportunity to ride and meet. Give me a few weeks, and hopefully the weather will cooperate too! Email me when you want to ride @ clambjr@comcast.net.
