Hey everyone. My name is Rich. I actually know Jay who started this site, not sure if he's affiliated it with it anymore.

On the weekends I ride a 2009 Honda CRF250X but during the week I take my Mongoose Rockadile ALD out around the trails in my town of Kinnelon. The Mongoose isn't the best bike, but I guess it gets the job done. I'll probably be looking to upgrade to a better XC bike soon.

Anyway, my bikes!

i have some family in Lublin, i'm from Sandomierz, any who, i wanted to comment on how clean your rides look, a little too clean, you gotta get out on some of our group rides and put some dirt on that puppy!

Very awesome. Im originally from Stalowa Wola which is about 30 minutes South East of Sandomierz.

The Mongoose is pretty clean due to lack of use but the CRF250 gets well-loved every Sunday. I adore that bike! I'll work on loving the Mongoose, or a different bike if I could find a good deal on one.

post your sizes (height/weight etc...) and what your looking for, hardtail, full suspension... and what your budget is and i'm sure someone will chime in with a good deal, you can always check out the "marketplace" section of the site where people are always letting go of bikes for less

I'm 6' and 200 lbs. I don't really know what I'm looking for. I don't really ride too aggressively but this area is really rocky, so I guess an FS bike would be good? Budget is around $1k but would like to stay as low as possible. I'm open to suggestions/insight!

Welcome to MTBNJ.

Ride you mongoose and enjoy it. Don't buy anything for about a yr, by then you will have a better idea of what you want and a bigger budget.

Welcome Maybe you and norm are related.
It seems all you motox guys are fast on a mtn bike which never made sense to me cause you don't pedal that.

Moto riding is definitely one of the most physically demanding things I've ever done. A day or aggressive enduro riding makes me feel completely broken, but in a good way. 😀
