Hi everyone,

Another newbie to the forum!! I relocated to Northern NJ (from the other side of the world) about a year ago. Been out enjoying the trails (Ringwood, Jungle Habitat, Allamuchy) and the roads since.

Im an avid biker (mtb, road, cyclocross) - mostly out riding a 29er - singlespeed mostly at the moment while I wait for my Jet9 warranty replacement 😱 Prefer the marathon/endurance type riding mostly. Planning on lots of riding (and probably will start racing aswell) in '10!

Pete, you on the wrong board…… you won’t find any avid riders who love 29er’s, Singlespeed, or any roadies on here …….just a bunch of casual riders on 26er’s. But you’re welcome to hang anyway! 😀 Oh, and by the way you have to change your name...too many Pete's! 🙄

First guess was right!!
From Canberra in Australia. Hard thinking about at this time of year when the temperature in Canberra is about the same in celsius as it is in fahrenheit here.

For those that ever get the chance to get to Australia, Id definitely put mtb'ing in Canberra on the list. It was the home of this years mtb world championships and next (2010) years 24 hour world championships. As you can expect, there are some great trails there!!

even though my company has a few offices in Australia I can't get then to send me there..
