I feel like I created an account but didn't starting posting until quite a bit after that. I have no idea how I found my way here.
 
In 2009 i met a guy in the woods who told me that he was the creator of mtbnj. I forget his name and what park it was in but I do remember following him because he had a small GPS and I figured he knew the way. We ended up very lost and not even on a trail for a long while and had to hike-a-bike back to civilization. I had a different account back then but got banned for some reason in 2011 😳

So my wife and I love cape may bought a house near there in 2012? Maybe. So I was getting gas at the Wawa on Bayshore the one in Villas had my peace9er on the rack the gas guy who obviously wasn't a mtber said nice bike oh thanks he says a buddy of mine rides nice I said did you ever ride ceres? No I said so I looked up Ceres and found mtbnj.com the rest is history
Gotta say the site is awesome still is great info great peeps

July 2008, shortly after I had moved to NJ and was looking for places to ride-
Definitely hopped back and forth between here and MTBR back then
 
I went to my first Cranks Around the Campfire in August, 2017. At the campsite, I met a bunch of MTBNJers with the orange and blue kits. They told me about the site, and I joined up. Been living here ever since.
 
I joined a couple years ago when I got back into mountain biking. I came here looking to see if 6 Mile was OK to ride after 2 straight days of rain in March.
 
Established Dec 17, 2013, member #9514. I'm 99% sure I had another user name for several years prior, but never really posted anything (and still post nothing useful). Fairly certain I heard about it from my buddy Andy, who's one of @bonefishjake 's lax bro's. I think I found the site some time around '08 or so.
 
I actually first signed up on here in 2006 because I had just gotten a new Walmart Mongoose dual suspension "mountain bike" and I was looking for places to ride and I'm pretty sure I bing'd "mountain bike in nj" and this was one of the top results. I created a user name, replied to someone else's thread with pics of my cool new bike, and that was the only post I did - then completely forgot about the site - until 2014 when I was getting back into mountain biking again and I was like "hey I should get back on that forum" and couldn't remember the user name I had created for myself. So I created a new one.

Yes, but they still cost $$, plus my 2 car garage is almost a no car garage. That is making my wife very unhappy. Hopefully my kids don't take to park riding because...
