I want a change

I got no hint of a Cider. Everyone has different taste buds though. I still have 3 more of home. We will see now that you said it if I taste it.

Tried another Sam Adams last night. It was the Summer Ale. It was just ok. I thought that it had a funny after taste. It just was not for me.

I find that all wheat beer has a funny aftertaste. I'm not a fan, but some people love the stuff.

Yeah, I had one Saturday. It was just okay. I didn't notice an aftertaste, just a washed out beer that couldn't decide what it wanted to be(this from a reformed Michelob Ultra drinker😱). Granted, it was my third and came after a thoroughly 'WTF do they do that?' SA Blackberry Whitbier, I left half of that Summer Ale in the bottle when I left. I did start the night with a SA White Ale, which was thoroughly satisfying. Unfortunately there was not another to be found.

I never need to try another blueberry or blackberry beer. I've tried a couple and I just don't get why anyone does that... the flavor does not go together. Now chocolate, they've got something there.

I have to disagree, Sam is the best American beer🙂 But you can also switch to dark side...vodka with tonic😉

Vodka and tonic? I'm sure I've never had one of those. You might have to show me how😉. Anyway, I did say the Samuel Adams White Ale was really good and I will look for it again, but the other two were to be avoided.

ST. Pauli Girl was the one of choice for last night. WOW. Really great Lager. It is on the liter side but so good. This is a buy again. It had a great taste and no bad after taste at all. Love it Love it.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. mmmmmmmmmm

in the fall I like to migrate over to the darker stuff... Sirerra Nevada Porter.

mmmm beer.

Sea Dog BluePaw. I do NOT recommend this one. Unless you like Coors Lite with a hint of Blueberry. It was a very weak beer. This one goes on the do not buy again list.

Good to see you've resumed your quest, Lou!

Try some Pumpkin ales or some of the good Octoberfest stuff that's out there.

Stopped into the store on my way home and grabbed 2 new ones.

First one.
Fort Collins Brewery Rocky Mountain IPA / Indian Pale Ale

I had High hopes for this one BUT No good. To me it taste like flowers and olive juice. Not a good combo. I finished 1 bottle and gave the rest to one of my friends to try.

Im a Miller Lite guy and been reading the posts. I do like it but I got to get away from my mindset of, "for $22.00 I can buy a 30 pack that will last a week or so🙄" I can't get in my mindset, "$16.00 will get me a 4 pack of Dog Fishead Palo Santo and last 1 night." Now that's some good beer! If I could afford better beer I probably would. BTW I'm the first to admit I have a problem. I really like Beer.:drooling:

That's why I reserve the DFH Santo Palo drinkin' for special occasions like National Holidays, leap years, birthdays and such. That and the fact I'm a 'cheap date'...two's my max. Four of those babies and I'd wind up pie-eyed on floor. :drooling::drooling::drooling:

But Miller Lite?!? 😀

My new Miller Lite is Blue Moone or Land Shark. Both are at most places. If I have the option I go for Blue. As far as the pricing I only at max have 3 beers every other day. None the day befor rides. So a 6 pack lasts 1 week for me.😀
Both are on the cheaper side but taste better than Miller.
