Just got back from hitting the trails at Thompson Park.... Pushing through a base layer of leaves covering adds a good challenge!!!

Might wanna try and get out this morning before the heat wave hits this afternoon 🙂 >grin<

driving up to Okemo tuesday they're was no snow anywhere, very weird for this time of year. The had about 60 trails open, snowed a few inches on thursday but no real help to there base. Glad we ddin't decide to go to Jay Peak since they don't blow alot of snow, they only had something like 18 trails open wednesday when I check their conidtions. Hopefully it get cold soon up north.

Yea seriously. We're supposed to be going to Mt Snow over Pres. Wknd. Old man winter has about 5 weeks to get his shit together
 
If you need snow

...go to Mt Tremblant Canada. I was there with the family Chirstmas week...this is what it looked like (we even got 8" of fresh on the Weds)...we didn't see natural snow until we got to the border.

I'm quite happy without the snow 😀 I just wish I made better riding choices. I went to CR for some reason instead of just hopping on the roadie. I didn't stay very long, what a soupfest...I should have known better!

Is this the Thompson Park in Jamesburg? I live pretty close to there, so if you want someone to ride with, shoot me a message and hubby and I can meet you. A day's notice is good, we are pretty flexible when it comes to fitting in a bike ride 🙂 although we do prefer morning rides...I will will ride REAL early.

Yup - this is Thompson Park in Jamesburg.... Was gonna head over again today but ran out with other things going on....
 
did thompson today - hit the trail @ prospect plains too - was gonna ride @ harts or six but opted for the home trail

only thing bothers me about thompson is that its got blazes all over the place - hard to figure which color trail you're on at times - even when i know where i am (can you really get 'lost' there anyway) i still don't at times

couple things i like to do there are the 'sled hill' downhill and also i love riding along the edge of the lake in the goose crap

the trails are not really well cared for there - i mean - compare this system to harts or six and there is no comparision - way too many leaves covering the trails - but hey - its close - and honestly - i always get a good workout

arwens - i am an early rider too - havent had my lights on trails yet though (only do that on the road)
