JORBA presents the NJMTB festival

I'm trying to register to Kids Kombo ride and it's not clear to me if a total cost for a parent and 1 kid is $20 or $40. It looks like $20, but the system tries to charge $40. Any help there?

Are you eventually going to post the ride routes (Strava, Trailforks etc.) on the event website?

Right now due to Covid protocols, park overcrowding, everyone has to preregister. We need to do this for several reasons, contract tracing for one, and in the event the state closes the park.

You can register for one of the activities on the registration page. We do not have open registration for just the event. Not yet anyway, we want to fill the rides first, and then figure out how many people we can allow to register. The state is serious about keeping the number managable and trackable.

So as of now, no walk ups, all prereg, the just rides.

Strange times.
Apology for being dense but do I have to preregister for the park also if I plan to attend one or two rides?

Here is what i understand

Registering for a ride (or camping) is registering for the event. Get there early, ride, ride some more, stay late.

There is still a $5 parking fee - that is collected by the park - not JORBA, or for Tom's yacht fund.

Once the rides fill, or reg is closed, there will be a number of spots left - per the park's official "this is how many can come to the event" edict.

A page to (pre)register to attend without going on the "special rides" will be posted to fill those slots.

I'll throw this out there - you are paying a registration fee with these rides.
All the leaders are volunteering to deliver an appropriate level ride on trails that might not be familiar.

When you are done, and realize it was a great loop, and you met some new people, maybe even got some great tips?
Think about throwing a bit more in JORBA donation bin or making the next couple TM days at your park.
The park stewards have had some serious challenges over the last couple years. They do a horrible job of blowing their own horn
(sorry Team, you deserve more credit) - materials, equipment rental all cost. A couple more hours of volunteering, and a bit more $$ make a difference.

if Jorba is selling stuff, can i put in request for bike shorts / shirts. I do not mind ordering and waiting for it JORBA team to make a decision to order based on number of orders.

I'm sorry for yet another question and this is probably a stupid one at that, but is there a fee to ride every group ride? I was thinking of doing two rides, but assumed it would be an additional fee.

If so, I get it and no issues. Maybe I'll set up my pathetic "garage sale" again and sell absolutely nothing.

FTR, I am beyond psyched for this.

I have stuff to sell too. I'll start making the "pathetic garage sale" signs.

I liked the garage sale, it’s the event within the event!
