I don't think the Crux has rack and fork mounts though, correct? I'm thinking on running front and rear packs, I'm planning on camping maybe 50% of the trip depending on how I feel. I was trying this setup out on my current "gravel" bike. Please ignore the untrimmed steerer tube, thank you. 😀

v happy with my lauf, when i was looking around it was hard to find all the things i wanted in a new bike at that price point.
i'm pretty much sold on the big tires gravel bike racing, being able to sit in a group of people and not be paranoid of smashing into a rock and dying with MTB tires is a great feeling. still very course depend tho

Did you have a tough time deciding which fork to go with? I feel like the rigid would probably make more sense for most of my riding but can't help but be curious about their leaf sprung fork.
no, granted i think it falls under the "you don't know what you're missing" ordeal, but a MTB tire at 20psi seems to be enough cushion for me. id love to try it but it seems like such a specific piece of equipment. you really need to be hitting some really gnarly shit for it, IMOHOMO.Did you have a tough time deciding which fork to go with? No, just trying some different stacks and bars before I cut it. It does look pretty ridiculous though. 😬With the garmin on top lol. Impressive level of not trimming for resale.

Mine has the GX transmission but I don’t really care for it, would certainly rather have the regular stuff…I want to mullet my Solo but really don't feel like buying transmission in a few months and having an extra GX AXS derailluer laying around.
Guess I could just keep the Solo as a commuter/bikepacking bike. N+1 and all that.
You know who likes it that way?Untrimmed for extra curricular campground activities.
By regular stuff, do you still mean axs? I was looking into mulleting mine also. What don't you like about the transmission, how does it compare to the Rival axs stuff?Mine has the GX transmission but I don’t really care for it, would certainly rather have the regular stuff…
I'll let the wife know. 😀...You need 3 bikes.
It shifts slower. The whole “shift under load” thing isn’t a selling point on gravel as it is on the mtb.By regular stuff, do you still mean axs? I was looking into mulleting mine also. What don't you like about the transmission, how does it compare to the Rival axs stuff?

If I could put the transmission on my mtb I’d swap my setups but it’s “too old”
I thought that was some kind of new age Garmin Mount 🙂With the garmin on top lol. Impressive level of not trimming for resale.
