Dry and dusty today. There's a tree top across the trail by Tempe Wick, after you descend and go over the bridge and start climbing again. I think a lopper and handsaw could clear it with some time.

Thank you! Saved me a theoretical trip this week. I may try to go trim the field section of Green this week if i can find time. Was a bit overgrown and super easy to get to next to a parking lot so why not?

Great work on the new trails and re-routes; so much better than eroded blown out fall lines!

Does anyone know why green trail from doe meadow down to the picnic area has "trail closed" signs at both ends? It only says trail closed, and is signed by "management".

That was my thought too. Earlier in the week there was a notice on the morris county parks page about the trail closure, but it’s gone so I’m guessing the closures are done. Maybe they missed some sign removals?
