Bring your cross bike....and a mouth guard. 😉 j/k it's root city!Damn, I had no idea. I'd like to actually ride this park 1 day.
Yeah, you have to go on the paved fitness trail for a short period to get to the other side. Each side has a different feel to it. @michael.su may have the current map, I will let him chime. I plan to start riding here more again this year as i can swing it as a lunch ride but it is definitely one of those parks that gets old pretty quick.I used to ride Mercer, but could never figure out how to get to the other side of the park. This was back in 2005 or so, so the trail may have been shorter. Is there a map of the full park?

Ah... The good ol' days. 🙂Well back then people would cut thru the golf course... I'm not going to lie and say I never did it... I wouldn't do it again
I did it a few times and it was never really worth the unmaintain sections on either side of the golf courseWell back then people would cut thru the golf course... I'm not going to lie and say I never did it... I wouldn't do it again
It was decent? Looking to go tomorrow late morning somewhere and Mercer's a geographical top pick. Hoping for a 2nd opinion because... well it's Mercer after a few soggy days... Anyone, Anyone... Buehler, Buehler...Just rode all the south side including Van Nest. East Picnic area, Holy Grail, Blue and Son of Blue, to the rowing center, back to West Picnic area.
Perfect spring conditions, Skunk Cabbage is popping, the peepers are wailing... Get out there!
