Mercer County Park Conditions

rode here a couple of days ago before the rains and warmer temps, it was pretty good, a little moist here and there, but overall ridable. seems like a lot of deer, cuz this is only my 3rd or 4th time here, and at least my 2nd time seeing deer...

Conditions at Mercer excellent today. Very little mud, trails hard and quick.

We may have run into you today on the trail 🙂

I agree on the conditions for the most part. We rode just about everything. The only problem area was the north section of the blue trail off of south post rd. It was worse than I've ever seen it. especially up to the first bridge. Muckety, muck muck.
It may not dry until summer :-(
Hit it frozen!

Never made it to the north side of the lake. We had just an hr or so of daylight so we played around only on the south side. Had fun anyway. I've been there just once or twice before so still finding my way around. I think I was on the north end once yrs ago. Very, very rooty up there, no?

Eh, some sections are very rooty (Red) but there is some nice stuff up there too. Some parks have rock gardens...we've got root gardens! Lol
Not everything is on the map either ;-)
A couple mud holes up there these days too though:-(

How's this park after a big rain like is forecast tonight and tomorrow? I was thinking of going there or Lewis Morris on Sunday and don't want to mess up the trails.
