Past experience is that it's not bad you may come across where you need to stop for a racer to come by. With water park not open they will probably finish over that side. I know they are in an old rock trail up top other then that not sure, Patty rode the course last weekend with the pro girls i did not. It will be crowded but nothing like waiting like we did at highlands last year.

Ok, I decided to rent a bike and do the XC trails another time. Matty, I'll hit you up if you don't mind doing a noob pace for a run or two.

Awesome, all day son :getsome: did you reserve a bike, I would if you didn't yet.

No, but I checked and they currently have 17 mediums available for Sunday. Anyone know what the Jorba code for the discount is? I'll probably just call them later.

I'm pretty sure you have to show the Jorba card in person to get the 15% off. Definitely reserve in advance. Rentals come with pads and FF helmet too.

I only made it to MC on opening day so far. But I'm planning to go this Sunday.

I haven't seen Nelson since the crash but he looks to be healing amazingly fast.

Saturday Events

An old bmx buddy and I were planning on renting bikes this Saturday, before we knew about the racing this weekend. Is there any actual racing going on Saturday? or is it all on Sunday? We already reserved bikes, so were in either way.....just wondering though! looks like all the rain will be outta the way just in time....

SuperD is Saturday plus dh practice but you will be fine. Enjoy those demo's!

Thanks.

Super D looks like it would be really fun! especially since I currently lack the conditioning for X-country racing. Are they still doing the King of the Mountain Enduro again this Sept.? Def. interested in that type of racing....

Prob. do a little spectator"ing" while I'm there Sat.

Really stoked to be trying out the downhill thing though!!

Everyone have fun and be Safe out there!!:getsome:

The KOM race is definitely on and is now part of the North American enduro tour!

Had an absolute blast 1st time out on the rentals today! Totally hooked and will be looking to buy a DH before next year! took half the day to start getting comfortable on the bike, but hit several of the small features and the phantom drop by the end of the day.

Today was thrilling. I forgot how dope riding a proper DH bike is. It's also a very mind numbing experience. You just forgot about everything. Most xc rides you have time to reflect but not DH! Full concentration needed. It was also great to ride with jdro and matty as always. More rides at the park to look fwd to to test my cojones.

First time back to the mountain since the ownership change. Impressed. They cleaned it up. It's proper.
