I wanted the t-shirt. I get in Tuesday about noon (that’s the plan, dunno what traffic has planned). I’m staying in White Caps campground, maybe 15 minutes from the northern trails. Looking forward to hooking up.

Norm, if you don't mind, I may do the same, as I'll be up there w/ the whole fam right around when Gene will be there, so I'll need to know about the easy and the awesome 🙂
 
I’m heading up to Island Pond tomorrow with the family and plan on riding with my son 3 maybe 4 days. He is 13, and is pretty good but definitely still has a lot to learn and some climbing fitness to build.

Any thoughts on where I should take him, or better yet, what to avoid?

Exactly. it’s out of the way. About 30 minutes north of Burke. If you ever get into snowmobiling, it’s one VT’s best spots for it. In the summer it’s an introverts paradise.

I love Brighton the campground near there- cabins swimming fantastic. Last time the mosquitos were ridiculous. A fluke season but I bought a hat with webbing for the camping stuff regardless.
