Just rode my new Trek fuel Ex 8. This is my first full suspension bike and will have to say I am very impressed with this bike it handles great and climbs like a beast on steroids. I am very happy with my purchase. Looking forward to hitting CR tomorrow and seeing how it handles The Rock.

Here is a picture of my 2008 ex8. 173.jpg I just recently started to ride it again. I'm thinking that the ex8 might be the better bike for me to race at jungle habitat(my other bike is a 29 ht).

The bike is a decent climber(I knocked the psi up in the rear shock and it's good to go) and it handles the rough stuff without a problem. I really like the active braking pivot. You can hit the brakes hard without losing any rear suspension performance.

Addicted, you made a good decision. It has a good frame, you can always swap out components in the future.

WHAT???? I'm shocked!

Kirt, I probably could do a faster lap on the ht at jungle, but for three laps I think the fs is the way to go. We'll see. It's been fun riding something different than the ht. I improved my yellow trail tt by 30 seconds on the fs(I know, no one gives a f 🙂).

Your preaching to the choir with the FS
