Hello all, Found this site while surfing the net. Looks like a great place! Dave here, from South Jersey. Started out Mountain Biking years ago, found myself more on the street and have had that bug for some years now. Decided to get back off the road, and outta the traffic!!! Still gonna do the road thing (I'm addicted), but once my new Stumpy gets here (5/24/10), gonna hit the woods on the weekends. I cannot believe how much things have changed since my last mountain bike, and am sure to have some questions for you guys/girls.

If you take advice from sj_john then I will meet you on the SJ trails soon enough. Shoot me a pm if you decide to ride at Wharton as I ride there most weekends, ticks and all!!
 
Welcome to the site. Quite a few folks here are also roadies so you can find some one to ride with on and off the road. Feel free to ask questions, it's the best way to get answers.😉

Hey, Soon as my bike arrives I'll take you up on that. I've done alot of dirt- biking and hunting at Wharton (I know what you mean by "Ticks and all", heck, I still have chiggers left over from last year)!!!

If you're really lucky, you'll find someone to do both in the same ride.

Cheech and Chong? Isn't that an Aisan BBQ joint in Lyndhurst?
