So glad to have found this forum! I live in Portland, PA, about 1 tiger woods drive from NJ. I am really impressed with the network that the riders have in Nj, it's just not like that over in PA. I'm a native of Randolph so I feel right at home here. I rediscovered my love of mt biking when I took the mountain biking director position at Mt. Allamuchy Scout Reservation in 2004. Up until then I just didn't know anyone that rode. I rode some before that, mostly doing trials type stuff on my rigid 96 Rockhopper. This summer is my first not at the camp but I've really caught the bike fever. Your forum gave me lots of insight into the LM and Bulldog Romp races that I recently competed in. I skipped Cat 3 and went right to Sport. Hats off to you guys out there in the 30-34 Cat 2 class! You've inspired me to train harder and go back to my hardtail.
