New to Hartshorne

Hello! I’m new(ish) to the area and the sport. I recently moved to within biking distance of Hartshorne Woods (claypit run entrance). I started going out at Hartshorne about a year ago, but have recently started going out more frequently. My schedule is a little wonky, but I’ve been getting out do to do really quick rides about twice during the week and longer rides on the weekend.

I would love to meet up with anyone biking in the area and am pumped to learn more about the sport. Feel free to dm/reach out and I’m keeping my eye out for group rides and TM in the future.

Thanks!
Brice

That's great to know, I would have to take off work, but would be really interested. It's every Monday? Is there a lot where you guys meet?

Welcome @brice
I recently got a place in near the Rocky Pt lot which I ride to when I was riding. Let me know the next time you head out there and would be great to tag along.

oh, awesome! I plan to go out early Saturday morning (most likely around 8) and Sunday afternoon at some point. If you're around either day, would love to link up.

welcome aboard.... Going out to a TM session is a very good way to learn the trails and meet people...
I will be having a session at Allaire Sunday morning at 8 am we will most likely be doing some trim back work.
8 am hospital road lot.

cool, thanks very much! As it stands right now, I'll be there (always have to equivocate with a 1 year old at home).

I managed to do the western half (Laurel Ridge -> grand tour -> back onto laurel ridge) twice this week, trails are great!
What bike are you riding? Might have passed you from time to time. I usually ride a black Orbea, but sometimes a white and orange fat bike with brown tires which are hard to miss.

I'm on a black Cannondale (usually in a bright orange jersey), I'll keep an eye out for you! I was out this morning and managed to go over my handlebars on the bing bong bone crusher segment on that little grand tour offshoot, so if you saw a guy groaning on the ground, that was me!
