New to site (Middlesex guy)

Just tossing in a hello to all and a wish to waste many unproductive work hours surfing the forums here.

Me: Longtime XCer who fell out of the sport around Y2K (kids, marriage, first home and some auto racing). Did 24H of Allamuchy many times, Canaan, the old Pedro's fests, annual Moab pilgrimages ... I kept road riding the past decade though because it was easy to grab a quick ride when time permitted.

Dusted off the old Deans a couple months back (mine's 853 and hers is Ti) and took them for a service. Let's just say these "classics" drew a crowd in the shop. Someone even asked "what are them things on the ends of the bars?" Seriously?

So far the wife and I have only done a couple rides at 6MR but I feel like the rust is starting to peel off and the old fire of MTB passion is re-igniting ... which led me here!

Dude, you need to check out the Monday (Memorial Day) issue of the Star-Ledger. I used a photo of you and Sam at the bounce house in Somerville that day. 🙂

Ah nice, good to hear the Bike Line crew is still about ... I was just looking thru a photo album the other day and saw a shot of you at an old Allaire MTB race. 🙂
