I recently had the opportunity to ride the North Fork Trail in the Seneca Rocks area of West Virginia. This is a STUNNING and wonderful ride for intermediate to expert mountain bikers. There is currently proposed legislation to turn this area into wilderness. Such would prohibit use by mountain bikers and this precious IMBA Epic ride will be lost forever. Apparently the motivation behind this comes from an out-going congressman who wants to leave his “legacy” by naming this wilderness after himself, and has little to do with any need to “preserve or protect” the area. Please consider signing the petition (below) so we all might continue to have the opportunity ride this unique and unforgettable trail.
