Health nuts out there if your looking for a nice crispy snack and don't want to potato chips then in 15 or so minutes you can make some Red Kale chips... I have made a few batches and love them...

Separate the leaves from the stem, wash and then dry
Lay them out evenly over parchment paper which will be in a cookie tray
Drizzle some Olive oil and lightly salt
Throw in an oven set at about 350 for 10 to 15 minutes
Let em cool down and have at em

I have played around with this and found that you will get best results with just the right amount of olive oil... I also replace the salt with Old Bay seasoning at times...

My wife has been into making kale chips and they are damn good. Good way to eat a whole head of kale in a few min.

I'm going to try this once it gets cool enough to turn my oven on. Without AC, I avoid the oven in summer. I have heard that beet chips on the the grill are good, but have not tried it yet.
