Had a great ride today, frozen trails and a nice dusting of snow!

After seeing pic above I was thinking Wawayanda would be my destination for today. Thanks to @Kaleidopete for the additional weather and trail report via PM. There were some slick rocks and I dumped the bike on “Mojo Swamp trail”. I later realized I lost my water bottle. So on a strong hunch I returned to the crash spot and there it was. Avoided too much back tracking.

Never got to posting this from yesterday morning......
19 miles on the CX bike. No real snow on the roads, grass had a dusting. The farther West I went, the dryerthe roads were.

That blue car when I first discovered it about 4yrs ago,it was still intact..Now all the doors is gone!
I’ve often wondered why someone would go through that kind of trouble. Some cars have clearly been stripped after being abandoned. I.e. motors pulled. Seems like a heck of a lot of effort for scrap or crap.

@thegock is hammering me here. how in the world does he have time to ride when all the beans need to sorted into their bins,
and sent in for government oversight?

2 hours at Wildcat with @sarcaro and the crew. If you can make this ride, it is highly recommended -
Solid intermediate terrain, with a very patient group!
I managed to stay upright all night - although i spooked myself on a skinny doing a stream crossing, and couldn't muster up the courage to ride
one for the rest of the night (there are 5 or 6) -

Did take a rose whip to the face and knee. There was a dh road segment - that is when i realized that the custom venting was left open.

Saw the temps in the 40s, and the rain still out in harrisburg.
Threw on some roadie stuff, and away i went - i gotta question that elevation data.....
Nice hour of riding - picked the wrong gloves again.

Pic of some clashing roadie stuff.

With temps around 40 I thought I’d be riding the road as well, but I decided to go with the woods roads (and some paved) in Harriman. They were quite dry overall so I was able to get my “dirt fix”. I’ve seen a couple people reference wrong gloves or shoes. With these temp swings, it has been challenging to get it right each day.
