Last night was all Washington... That game vs the eagles... OT.... GIANT let down because the idiot Rivera doesn't go for 2 points.... Then short week.... Plus the bears coming off a utterly horrendous loss to the broncos and blowing a 20 pt lead.... I didn't learn anything about fields last night, the Washington defense was moving in slowmo
Maybe it clicked for him. They have a pretty easy schedule coming up, so he’ll have a chance to build off this.

🙏 The cards are all on the table for Wilson to show he is no one trick pony (solid game Chiefs) against Denver. Denver’s defense is awful. Compared to what Wilson had to face the first few games he should have a good game. I don’t get why Jets are getting points against the spread.
Like what does it matter if wilson plays slightly better? Are the jets making the playoffs with him this year? I HIGHLY doubt it....about the only thing his playing better means for the jets is a worse draft pick
And Fields was what? 0-14 until last night.....Last week his numbers looked ok, but they had a 20point lead which he was partly to blame for blowing...then with the game on the line and a chance to same the day, he ends the game by throwing a terrible pick. Last night was 100% about washington.......And speaking of that game...My god, while Rivera is an idiot for not going for two....nick sirianni is a bigger idiot for calling that pass play to AJ brown that scored the TD.....had they just converted the 2nd and 4, kicked the short FG....game is over.

I honestly haven’t given up on the season. Besides the Dallas game their two other losses have been under 7 points. They have the necessary pieces.
You’re most likely right. It’s the easy bet for sure. But IDGAF about draft picks. It’s a crap shoot, even in the first round. (How’s Evan Neal working out for you guys?).
I’d much rather have an 8-9 season and a mid first round pick than go 4-13 and have to live through a dreadful season. I’ve done that enough.
One thing you can always bank on is giants fans being scared to death of a time when the Jets are the better team. It’s why they (they is a broad stoke, I’ll admit) hated Rex Ryan just for this reason. Just like as a yankee fan, I don’t want to live in a world where the Mets are the superior team.
Of the 1000 things I am concerned about as a Giants fan this is not one of them. I simply do not care about the Jets. They're an afterthought and they never will be good, so it really doesn't matter. May as well discuss other impossible things that will never happen in our lifetime like moving to Mars.
I mean I dont really care about that as a Giants fan....I dont enjoy seeing jets fans suffer the way I enjoy Dallas/Philly fans suffer. When I read all the hype about aaron rodgers coming and my BIL is texting me how jets going to the superbowl......I mean ok, thats when jets fans get a little ahead of themselves sometimes. But most of my moms side of the family are jets fans, I have been to MANY jets games....sat in the stands and watched the suffering....I take no pleasure in seeing jets fans suffer. Dallas tho? yes...when they lose in the first round of the playoffs every year...its truly a wonderful experience.
As far as which team is a bigger shit show lately, its certainly been a toss up the past 10 years. But this is the modern salary cap era NFL....on top of the fact that defensive rules have made the QB the most important player by a country MILE......they wanted it, now they got it....this is "parity" and im not a fan....id like to go back to the old days.

No, really... The jets and giants would only really have a meaningful game in the super bowl.... Other than that, I'm rooting for the jets to win. I know it's always a thing with who picked the better qb in the draft... But really, who cares? Neither one of them is "great".... I'd say dj has played some great games, but he's not great... Which is probably why he didn't get paid that much last year.
