There is zero chance the Jets sign a veteran QB to start in front of ZW. That time has passed.
He has played so badly I'm not sure how they can't. All the passes at the receiver's feet. Taking bad sacks.
Otoh Ryan would only last 3 plays.

1. hes been asked 15 times now if hes coming back and hes been a solid NFW everytime

Didn't the Giants score off a fumble, then 3 penalties, and the missed field goal was off a 4th down sack that any throw would be better, even an int.
I don’t think he played nearly as bad as it’s being portrayed. Yesterday specifically.
1. Giants have a legit defense. Their line is sick and their Coordinator is a top in NFL.
2. Jets O- line is putrid
3. It poured yesterday.
4. Jets receivers are total trash (other than GW). They get zero separation which is why ZW is taking so many sacks. He’s got to get rid of it sooner and that’s a big problem. But it’s directly related to a lack of quality receivers.
5. For as many bad throws, he also made some pretty great throws too, when it counted.
Trust me I am not saying he is the answer. I have very little faith in him or the coaches. Seriously, Salah is not a head coach. But I do not see anyone the Jets can bring In 8 weeks into the season that will do any better. I think he’s under a microscope and everything he does well and poor is amplified 50x.
He should probably be fired anyway. For the players being flat off a bye for the xth year in a row, for the awful penalties (which are the only reason the giants had more than the initial FG), for the awful play calling, and the awful clock management. What the F was he doing right before Greg the leg hit the game wining FG? Was he not sure if he wanted to run again or just kick? He was clueless. (BTW, why the hell did Daboll call a timeout. That kinda helped the Jets I thought).

And ya, the Giants had no business' coming anywhere near winning that game with Devito....in the rain...and waller out (which pissed me off as he is my TE).
I mean the FG right before Greg the leg won it. The jets sideline was utterly confused and about to get a delay of game. But the Giants called a Timeout. I have no idea why.
