OOS MOGA

In for LewMo this Sunday! Maybe this time I wont get nauseous at the end of the ride and end up puking inside my car again... (>_<)

If I need to take my kid to Pratt on Sunday I may be out or early 7AM start and out before 10.
Eric leads and Frank steps in. I'm not sweeping, two weeks off, so I'm going to push the pace. Everyone will lose it...

when was that?

Think it was 2 years ago during the mtbnj group ride. It was hot that day and I pushed myself too much. Started to get nauseous when we finished. While driving home, I could sense the puke coming and I had to pull over. I was too late opening the door and.... Blaaaaah! It was a pleasant 40 minute drive home.

@Mtbdog, how about a recap of the race?
I want you to lead us on one loop at the Saturday pace, gives a good appreciation on the fitness level for CAT3. I don't really know the race course well enough.

7AM pre-ride and loop back to pickup the 8AM crew

Will people show up for real this time lol I got lost in the confusion last 7am LM ride and was the only person there 😕. I think we've got 3 people so far down for 7AM including my self. Thinking of riding saturday if anyone wants to join as well as tomorrow afternoon.

Sure... myself and Walter have done plenty of early pre-rides
Besides Eric also has to cut out early.

Cool lol. Yeah, I'll be apart of the 8AM crew.
Come on... you can make the 7AM!

Race recap, I'll try. Good start as the rain held off. The course itself was hero dirt with great traction, but the roots were very slick catching the unwary. Start was good mid-pack to rear. Just kept an eye on Steve Baisley and tried to keep in sight. Was totally blown up at Orange/Teal turn, struggled all the way up Teal then made some ground up on the downhills. Getting to the Yellow switchbacks got some pace following an endurance rider and snuck a pass on Steve before the final road section and tried to hold Steve off but 50 yards from the finish he got me. Drats! Need better racecraft for sure. Overall I had a great time and that what counts. Oh, I finished 17th overall in cat 3 45+. Can't wait for the Bulldog Rump at Kittatiny?. Steve and I have a friendly rivalry that he always wins! Gotta try harder.☺

I'm sorry I didn't address the other topic. The D&Q summer sizzler is on Sunday and I'm thinking about going so I'll let you know about Lew Mo.
