OOS MOGA

Are you talking about Chunky Monkey? We didn't even think to try it after Manny said it was stupid hard. It was also great seeing you again. I actually didnt enjoy the White square back down. One was way too many hikers and also the lines were too wild for me to enjoy it. Would definitely do the retrace next time.
Yeh, the intent was to complete a loop but ended up kind of sucking towards the end. A year least Frank enjoyed himself the entire ride. Need to change the name of one of the trails to Franks Playground

Yeah I'm not crazy about the white trail down, and won't do it on a weekend with so many hikers. I usually do the pipeline or C trail, which has some tough sections but not as bad as white.

really want to join this weekend. keeping an eye on the thread - looks like a great time at sourlands (i've never been there myself).
Mahlon Dickerson is on schedule for this weekend but not sure if it will happen with the crappy weather we are having. Trail conditions might suck with all this rain.

We try to have rides every weekend so come join us anytime!

If nothing happens or people are up for a ride I can get wheel down in the afternoon on sunday if anyone is down. Should be home by 1 and needing to stretch my legs

this rain is killing me. bike is my only exercise...i tried that running thing yesterday and thought i was gonna collapse.

You guys need to find another hobby or get a trainer.
Trying to get into beer and wine.... which is why I need to ride lol

I don't like running but because of the above... need to do it from time to time. But then again, I am only running a 11-12min mile.

you need to take the running stuff real easily at the beginning, and actually walk your way to handle the pounding before you can run

at that rate, might as well get yourself a trainer. It's actually not too bad in a room at 72F and 55% RH, with fans on full blast. I like it so much that i've completely given up riding on the road.

also, at the current rate, when would the trails be usable again? It's been raining since Saturday evening, so I guess at least two days for it to dry?

It's been dry for a while before all this rain and hasn't rained too much today, I wouldn't be surprised if LewMo or Tourne were in pretty good shape. Of course don't know until you hit the trails sometimes.
