Damn...I just checked Southwest yesterday and it said on the site bikes get to go for free!? Sonia's family lives in Northern,CA (close to the Sierras). I'm convinced me (and my bike) should go with her in August. Gonna have to get the scoop from you on how-to-air-travel-with-bikes when you get back. Have fun!
Let me save you the trouble. I tried to pack my 29er into a a box smaller than 80 inches and it didn't work. I was forced to rent a geared FS bike 😛

Southwest Rules:
Anything over 62 inches: $50 bucks. Compared to shipping ground UPS, four days to possibly get lost for a cost of $60 bucks its about the same. Jay said UPS insures packages over $1,000. I don't have a bike worth that much so it was an easy decision.
Under 80 total inches (hardest one)
Under 100 pounds (easy)

Didn't have any hiccups bring it here, thankfully. Everyone was up on the rules and we just breezed through

amazing views... did you take your helmet cam with you for vids of your rides?

Of course. Not sure if I will crop them together here or not.

save this to your phone so you can have a rad backround.
Since you've been on your diet you lost a little bit of that flex appeal.

So yesterday we cruised around Boulder, and rode this trail called Walker Ranch up in the hills of Boulder County. Sadly I probably wont cut the video while we are here, but it was pretty intense. Mandi killed it on the singlespeed.

Speaking of intense, this weather is intense. Yesterday morning: 30's with 30 mph winds. Drove an hour into the foothills of Boulder: 60's with wind. We came back home late to Breckenridge, 28 degrees. We looked like straight idiots wearing warm weather stuff. This place is awesome. My phone battery sucks so that is why I have been slacking with updates from my phone.

shut up son. you gonna be back by saturday...? road bikes NYC + hot chicks central park = crash into horse and buggies
I forgot when we are coming home to be honest. Once I know (ask Mandi) I will contact you. I can't remember the last time I rode the road bike.

Walker Ranch in Boulder CO. Time for lunch.

ahahahah.* shes a killer son

Yeah she is, straight killed that place. I'm hoping that when we come back, all this riding at higher elevations will do us some good in the "hills" of New Jersey.

nice! You guys hitting up buffalo creek at all?

We are hoping to hit this up tomorrow. Seems that no one throws together a solid loop that EVERYONE agrees with is the best. Too many places to park and too many opinions of what way is the best.

" Nice... did you see any climbers when you were thier. Cool place see the kissing camels?

Yes we did, It seemed as if we were watching a police interrogation of someone jumping off the ledge. Those guys are insane! We are hoping to head back down that way on Friday to visit Seven Falls and the Pikes Peak Rail Cog.

Today we just cruised around, hang out day. Tomorrow should be more forum-posting friendly for yous.

Quick Edit:

The good section of the photo dustin posted up. Look at those legs. Probably shaved that the morning of the race?
