Local shop had a demo on the V5 last week.
My fat man calves were hitting the seat stays.
V4 is the way to go.

I tried a high pivot trail bike. I could not get past the increased drivetrain drag. I really like a quiet bike. I use Onyx hubs and my bikes are exceptionally silent.

I can see it on a Chairlift only bike, but not on something you have to pedal for hrs. Post back your experiences.
Sick!. You're going to love it. I agree that the idler does add some drag but the tradeoff is well worth it in my opinion. I've never ridden a bike that can climb up technical stuff like the Forbidden. Which build spec did you go with?

That's an easy one, none! Now comes the decision of which bike(s) to sell.

Item has been received and planning install on my IndyFab. Frame has cable guides under the top tube but not possible to run full housing from dropper lever to actuator on the seatpost. I can run 2 pieces, lever to 1st cable guide then 2nd cable guide to actuator. All bikes I currently have droppers are full housing, but also run internal. Assuming others on here have run external droppers without full housing. Let me know how it worked out for you. Thanks.

Were they still using the 29.4mm seat posts for your frame? From my post: https://www.mtbnj.com/forum/threads...-part-or-mtb-gear-on-order.52742/post-1267548

Works fine on my restomod. No close up pic but it loops under the seat stays to the other side. From my post: https://www.mtbnj.com/forum/threads...-part-or-mtb-gear-on-order.52742/post-1267548

Thanks. My question was more about having a length of exposed cable between the guides.I have an external dropper run through the internal guides on my fatbike - where I removed the front der. looks like your pic.

Run full housing, I bet it will fit in the guides. Or just zip tie it to the frame as tidy as you can. That said, my 90s bikes had exposed derailleur cables and never had a problemThanks. My question was more about having a length of exposed cable between the guides.
Cable housing will fit in 1 end only. Other end is slotted for cable only. From P.M.W. website. Yep, the 90s bikes all had exposed cables. I found in my spare parts bin a complete SRAM X9 3x9 setup. Has Jagwire cables and housings. Looks like it has some of the small diameter tubing on the cable to protect the paint. Will use that.Run full housing, I bet it will fit in the guides. Dremel it. Problem solved!Cable housing will fit in 1 end only. Other end is slotted for cable only. From P.M.W. website
