Actually not this time. I’ve had King on a few bike’s already. Up until a few years ago they were the shit, but the world’s caught up. I mean they’re still beautiful, but they don’t quite have the same performance edge vs the competition’s high end offerings IMO. Went Hellbender for the HS & BB this go around.

Never had CK but used Hellbender bearings for a while on CC40 both HS and BB and never had problems (other than they don't make their cups in orange or they would be on the fugitive as well). I went full Hellbender 70 on the Kona Honzo ST, speaking of which that ship has not sailed just yet and now I find myself drooling after the new 2023 frame color, will it ever end?!?!

Not 30 sec after @knobbyhead rolled out of his spot at Allaire after our ride, in rolls Maniak Dan @Juggernaut. I was rolling out, and saw it on his car and was like WHAAAAA? Well, let me roll up on to the sidewalk and take a look….
I can tell you Bob and I were discussing this very frame during our ride. True story, it is as beautiful as in the pix. And looks pretty all built up too. Nice meeting you Dan, and good luck with it.
I had to call Bobby on the way home as I knew how much he’d appreciate it.

I've been enjoying them so far , I struck early and got a bunch in the 40$ range . Def not the fastest rolling but for the amount of grip and feel I'm loving them . Also wasn't crazy about the kryptotal rear so went with xynotal instead .
