BASF still paying the taxes which tells me lots of toxic dumping must have went down
The Great Betamax Debacle of 1986.Probably about 24 trillion cassette tapes were dumped there.
I think i left my Molly Hatchet ”flirting with disaster“ cassette thereProbably about 24 trillion cassette tapes were dumped there.
BASF purchased the Belvidere site in 1985, although the plant building dates back to 1925. The facility is part of BASF's Coatings Division, which manufactures automotive refinish products for the collision repair, automotive refinish and aftermarket industries.I did a job on the BASF building putting up solar panels the one in Florham Park. They are one of the largest chemical companies. Hopeluy they weren't dumping anything by the river

Yup that sounds like about right for a NJ state park. Let's get it done 🙂
Digging some more BASF has been battling the town because town wants its tax money. Courts favor town as long as their is buildings standing. In order for buildings to be removed state needs to approve of all remediation. Right now paying the taxes is probably cheaper but at some point BASF is
A. Claim bankruptcy ( highly doubtful)
B. Pony up for remediation and sell (doubtful)
C. Donate to the State ( most likely)
Outrun the cops which should be easy because their belvedere copsSo what needs to be done to be able to ride here?
