Question about PM on FSMB.

RonC

ZGOZZ Macman
Ok I am new to the sport so bare with me.
What is recommended or what do you recommend for a ride like we did yesterday at Allaire State Park. A lot of sand any suggestion would be a nice help.😀

I honestly don't have any idea what your question is. I'm about to put a moratorium on you creating new posts until you become more clear and concise in your posting.

What is your question?

Preventive Maintenance on Full Suspension Mountain Bike

what do I win?!?!?!?! 😛

& The answer is simple, don't bring it to Allaire, instead bring the 29er Single Speed Full Rigid :popcorn:

Yea you got it, I guess I should not us abbreviation here. LOL
My understanding about being a newbie, there will be times I will ask, or others, question that might be lame or basic to others.

Trying to understand why the questions I am asking is such an issue.

Abbreviation are all the world we live this is nothing new.😀😉

The problem is that you average 18 posts a day, many of which are 1 sentence and often hard to understand. Slow down, take your time, and you will come across more like a thoughtful poster and less like you want to comment on everything posted here.

Ok no more posting from my iphone, that's fine I see your point...

In addition, the fellas that run the show here have compiled a valuable amount of information over the past few years. Notice on the bar across the top, there is a search feature. Try that first. Also, there is a first timers thread, read through that as well. Check out the different areas of the site, got a question about some simple maint., look in the "shop talk" section. Want to see if anyone is riding, check out the "rides, races and events" section.

As far as your question, there is little you can do to prevent wear and tear from general riding. If the brakes arent performing properly, or the bike isn't shifting like it should, maybe have it checked out. other than keeping the drivetrain somewhat clean and lubed, you should be good to go for quite some time.

Thanks Walter. Ron, feel free to post from the iPhone. I do it all the time. Just take your time and add a little more to the conversation. I'm glad you have an open mind about it. Hang in there.
