Race listings

Hi, apart from bikereg.com, are the any other sites you'd recommend visiting for mtb race listings? Thanks.

I remember when dirt rag magazine was your only source, nothing much on there data base except a few races. They tell you to post something if you got it.

Some promoters haven't necessarily posted their races on bikereg just yet even though they are scheduled in their series...I built my calendar by cross referencing bikereg, H2H, Mid Atlantic SuperSeries, NYS MTB, and Root 66 sites. Most have their schedules up on their respective sites even if they are not on bikereg yet.

Hope this helps.

Brian

that root66 series has got to be the longest running series on the east no? They used to include dhing at some of there events years ago...

after further review I noticed that the old series up in NE was Route 66, they fooled me...

Other than Bikereg, I've seen some use active.com, but they tend to be more obscure races or sometimes the really huge ones or bi/tri stuff.

Hey Brian, that's really helpful- thanks for the sites. I'll be using them to plan my schedule!

I agree- Active is pretty bad as you have to opt out of 10 different magazine subscriptions when registering for a race.

Kinda off topic but I wish BIKEREG.COM was the ONLY place people used for events. Active.com is awful and it's way too commercial. I hate hate hate having to use it because it comes with a lot of unwanted baggage.

Bikereg is simple and they don't spam you with offers and all kinds of nonsense...

I disagree. I registered for a race from there and also got a great deal on a non stick frying pan.
