Vehicle extraction - very convenient if you want your vehicle totaled when it might not be.
Hope only the car took the hit, and the other insurance company, which has a lawsuit landing on it soon.

Sheeet. We can fix it. We had a whole uniside here the other day for a Cruze, I should have taken some pictures of that.

We only used part of the quarter panel but they don't sell the section we needed separate. Still was cool to see a whole side of a car just sitting around. Rear and side impacts aren't as bad cost wise as front. Or Acura flambé.
 
I ran into Carson today and mentioned he hasn't updated this thread in forever.

Thread was recently updated. Obviously I was not paying attention!

Tons of public servants I know can count the days down until retirement. X years, Y days. You should keep track how long it's been since you became a cop and just keep updating it as "Days you've been a cop without shooting someone".
 
Raritan Twp news today shows an arrest for possession of heroin.

I am surprised someone caught with heroin is processed and released. Does that include arraignment and bail?

Oh God no. Christie reformed the bail rules. There is basically no bail anymore. We either have to release them on a summons or they are lodged without bail until a hearing takes place in 48 hours or less (and they are more than likely going to be released unless they are a flight risk, a danger to themselves or the public, or it's a 1st or 2nd degree crime). Possession of anything but a firearm is release on a summons. Honestly most charges of distribution of heroin would likely be released in 48 hours.

We had a serious stabbing on New Year's Day. Victim was in ICU and nearly died. That guy was held without bail and continues to be held.

We've arrested the same person 3 times in a week for heroin possession; I arrested the same person twice in the same shift. It is what it is.

I had a friend picked up for a DWI twice in the same night. Apparently he thought it was a good idea to drive home from the station after a friend came to pick him up.

I always thought it should just be one count.
 
Something nasty happened on old york tonight. Near where that house blew up a couple years back.
