Rider down

i've done everything in network, circa 33k costing me 3k~ out of pocket for my hand debacle ... i'd never consider doing anything out of network

I went through the same thing with my knee surgery(ACL, LCL, and Meniscus), doctor, network crap...

Went entirely in network but still had to fight the bills off left and right.

The two biggest problems were balance billing by the provider even though they are bound to in-network rates and the old "it wasn't pre authorized" line; for things like when I was just about unconscious and the anesthesiologist asked if I want a nerve block too...

Good luck with your surgery. Mine was a full sixth month recovery.

6 months, wow. since i only have the meniscus i am hoping to be back in 3.

we got all the T crossed and I dotted so fingers crossed. first week of nov.

by the way PK rippers and a crazy video on my blog.

i had it done yesterday and i am walking without crutches already.😱
i even worked on a rat bike project tonight.

$0. until i get the bill for the crutches. you know they will not be covered and cost $200.

Had my stuff done Tuesday. Fixed the ACL, took out most of my meniscus. Found more authritus than they thought. Scraped it off, drilled the bones to let them reseal. Doc said i won't be bearing any weight for 6 weeks on my right leg. Still looks like I'll be riding in 4 weeks, though.

Good luck with your rehab, sounds like your doing fine as it is.

I am doing good with no pain meds to boot. I may have to send my extras to panhead.

I'm not a big pill fan either, but this time they are really helping. Damn, I can't even drive down to get them.

So far I'm at 0* and 94*, slightly ahead of schedule.

Yeah I can't handle pain meds. I yacked twice in sameday and three times on the way home.

Thats more than likely the anestisia (sp). I usually boot once when I wake up and I'm good after that. This time it was when ever I stood up, went on for a couple of hours. Good thimg I slept the whole way home and until 11 that night.

Today I'm more mobile, started the fire this morning, brought in wood, washed the dishes. Got more planned for later on, after my 4 hours on the machine.

8 broken ribs and broken collarbone

I'm at morristown memorial recovering from a crash I had yesterday at Stevens. See the posts under female riders-Nov 5 two park loop. Going into surgery soon.

Just got back from doc. He cleared me for riding on the trainer. Said thats one of the best things for healing😀. Wife was there to hear it, so that makes it all right. PT starts as soon as I decide where to go, can drive on Monday.

i got on the exercise bike last night. i made it about 10min total. 5min warm up, weight lifting and a 5min cool down.😱

got to start somewhere, but have to go to therapy also.

therapy tomorrow. i need it i cant bend my knee past a certain point. how are you making out panhead?

if you go to my blog it will help you pass the time NSFW

In that Korean girls video in your blog, they are doing the Korea Chicken Fight. Hours and hours of fun!

I got on the trainer for about 45 minutes last night, 39/15 gear 90rpm. I don't know if I'm pushing it to much/fast. Therapy starts tomorrow, 7AM.

My doc said he doesn't want me going past 90* on my own, didn't tell he was to late so I keep it at 99*.

The doc micro-fractured my leg, in other words, he drilled the bone to let the marrow leak out and reseal the end.

Work is cool with me just showing up and grabbing stuff a couple of times a week, starting to get into the slow season anyway.

Keep me updated with your PT adventures, so I know if I got a pusher or a slacker.
