Latest update -

They are pumping water in to bring the level up to their max working level -
Project completion is still scheduled for the end of the year - then 1-3 years to fill it up.

Another update came through today - they put 8' of water in. this is the max level while working on the dams.
They've gone to double shifts on the south damn to speed things up.

Final update from the RV Project.

1-3 years to refill - we should start talking about reopening the eagle trail next august.
Or eliminating the restriction all together. My neighbor may be influential. He tags the eaglets.

I love Sterling Forest... but Round Valley is so.... close to home!

The water level is coming up much more quickly than anticipated. The rain has allowed unrestricted pumping, along with the natural collection (RV is not spring fed)

I'll check with my contact on the eagle trail again.

Was a little curious with all the rainfall...
As noted, RV is not spring fed. It is pumped out of the South Branch when water is available + whatever is caught in the "bowl"

The low level was targeted at 360' but drought so lower than anticipated, the normal level is 385.

The estimate to refill in January was 1-3 years. Gotta think they are ahead of schedule, then add another .3 feet today.
