The road tandem is a CoMotion Java.Its a steel frame and although a bit heavy by todays standards is reasonably comfortable on longer rides.CoMotion replaced the Java with the Supremo model which doesn't have the additional stiffeners . CoMotion is an Oregon based builder. They are currently building a new Java model tandem as a Gravel Grinder. Ours is around 1999 vintage.
