Still quite a few wet and muddy spots - amazing how 6MR is much drier than here. In other news I still suck in the rocks...

Blackwell mills road is still closed due to flooding. You may want to rethink six mile.

Just hiked the Ridge Trail south of the pipeline. A few portions of the trail turned into small streams and a few mud pockets throughout. There were also plenty of other portions that were dry and dusty.

Round Valley is probably the best bet for this part of the state until next weekend.

thanks guys... still home after morning full of chores and tuning bike... I didn't even think of six mile like that.. thanks for posting up.
Prob headed to Allaire for some laps... then tomorrow sourlands...etc.

Pretty wet and muddy in many sections today. Parts of the ridge trail are creeks. C trail from marker 9 to new shoes and three amigos south of the pipeline were the best - almost completely dry. Giant tree down at the beginning of the ridge trail (end if you're biking). Maybe it'll dry out in June?

Was ok tonight...until it pissed down rain on me in buckets when I was on 3 Amigos and the furthest spot from the car. Had to bee-line it down the gasline with my eyes half closed which was interesting. The trails were rivers,. It's gonna need a few dry days in a row but doesn't look like we're getting that this week.

To the guy on the fatbike who was just starting his climb of the gasline when the rain started...why?

While not bone dry, Sourland was very rideable today. The lower trails were where most of the soft spots were; up on Three Amigos, the conditions were pretty good.

With rain forecast for Tuesday, the "goodness" of the trails may be short-lived, but at least conditions are starting to get back to normal.

got in a short solo ride. Only my 2nd time there (first was JORBA ride 2 years ago) and had a great ride. Will be back for more.

very small amount of mud on the lower trail but other than that, good to go!

I'll be out this morning for a much needed Sourlands beat down 😀
Shooting for 9:30ish if anyone wants to meetup.
