Norm, how did you let this slip by?

This happened 40yrs ago today. Probably my favorite Led Zep album. Less sex, drugs and rock n roll...more about the music.

^^ I heard on NPR that they were doing the 40 year re-release. I told my sister they did 40 years because they may not make it to the 50 year. Too much sex, drugs and rocknroll😀.
 
Also as a bit of trivia, the Stones-Waiting on a Friend video was shot on the steps of that tenament/St. Marks place in the city.
 
^ I had that on vinyl, my mom threw that out too. Good memories of that album. My favorite was side 3; In the Light, Bron ur aur(or whatever the fuck it was), Down by the Seaside, Ten Years Gone. Also had to flip the record to play Boogie with Stu on the other side.

I'll have to see if Rick has this one too.

That would great if you had all your old vinyls. Believe it or not they are a hot commodity if in good condition.

None of my albums were in good condition. Me and my twin brother would fight and cause a ruckus, inevitably we'd put a skip in a record.

Really digging Physical Graffiti right now.
 
Sad that all my albums got left behind from my first marriage. Sure they got tossed. The shame was I had probably close 3,000 and boat ton of imports where most of these were played once as I recorded them to cassettes.

I was in the basement looking for a small space heater for wifey and found one bin half full of albums. I know I had more - gotta look more this weekend. Unless she sold some at garage sales! Did find Houses of the Holy
