There are few better feelings than getting that stripped bolt out.

No S*#%!, when you're done, it's like "I kicked your A$$!".

Yes!!!! Used a stepped bit to get rid of the head, then the sharpened flat head in the impact driver. I nicked the rocker arm trying to shock the bolt with a small punch, applying force tangentially to try to get it to back out.

On a separate note, are those needle bearings? And do they actually move the needle so to speak with respect to performance?

Could be a regular top hat (the RWC stuff looks the same externally), but yes...yes it does.

Works better than the Fox one, or the Rockshox bearing eyelet, too.

Yup, they are. Yes, noticeable increase in rear end sensitivity (TWSS).

Exactly, meanwhile that bolt is like, "I made you my bitch and lose sleep for 2 days..."

They made a huge difference in my
5010, however most of pivots designs now have bearings at the moving end of the shock so isn’t needed
