I don't see another Trump type figure showing up to take his place.

I hope not - I pray for someone that reflects Presidential Qualities of the Bush/Clinton era. I am sure that makes some people cringe, but the last 8-10 years has been pretty nuts.

It’s not just Trump - there are a lot of figures on both sides of the isle that know how to market the crazy for their gain. I am sure it has always been there, but our vessels for media and the news cycle makes me think it is extra crazy.

It seems shock politics gets the masses now.

Serious question to the trump supporters. How do you feel about how he is violating court orders? Do you believe the checks and balances of the 3 branches of government should be ignored or abolished in favor of only having the executive branch make all decisions?

I probably feel the same way as democrats do when sanctuary cities openly defy federal immigration law.

This will get worked out in the courts, the court itself said there is some validity to Trump’s EO. I find this is normal stuff in any administration to work through or with other branches.

The Court imagines there are, but it is equally sure that there are many instances in the Executive Orders’ wide-ranging, all-encompassing, and ambiguous ‘pause’ of critical funding that are not,” the ruling said.


Not gonna comment on preventing possible activist judges from getting political or not, until they do.

On that topic,
I know we experienced it before with the Trump merch and truck flags and such and some hardcore people kept with it through Biden's term, but I think it is time to put the stuff away. I can buy into some of that for the campaign even though no sign, flag or shirt has ever personally be bought or displayed by me or my family. These people really feel the need to fly a trump flag on their house still? Like who cares? He was elected, he doing his thing, maybe get on with your life?

It's February 11th. Christmas was December 25th, and the Election was November 5th. Please take everything related to these past events down.

So the court order is as ambiguous as the EO, it will get worked out, probably pretty quickly.

According to the constitution, yes.

Should trump be allowed to ignore what the constitution says? There was a reason the 3 branches were created. Trump seems to believe that he is above what the constitution says. In 2020 he said he wanted to abolish the constitution. Yet people voted for him. This is why I’m asking if people think trump should just have the ultimate power to do what he likes. This is the direction we are heading.

Yes. It's part of our system of checks and balances. He can appeal to higher courts until he gets his way or gets shot down.
