Tariffs...what to make of them.

No no...there is certainly no quid pro quo for Qatar giving dear leader a "free" 747

The order cites the two countries’ “close cooperation” and “shared interest,” vowing to “guarantee the security and territorial integrity of the state of Qatar against external attack.”

“The United States shall regard any armed attack on the territory, sovereignty or critical infrastructure of the state of Qatar as a threat to the peace and security of the United States,” the order says.

“In the event of such an attack, the United States shall take all lawful and appropriate measures — including diplomatic, economic, and, if necessary, military — to defend the interests of the United States and of the state of Qatar and to restore peace and stability.”

Of course, im sure this is also related to the fact that our undying loyalty to bibi means that we are now in the position to have to smooth things over with Qatar after he blew up 6 civilians there

I’m pretty sure that plane was full of cash

Can someone tell the orange dipshit that Freightliner is owned by Daimler, Mack is owned by Volvo, International is owned by Volkswagen....and even the "imported" trucks you see....Volvos, Scania, Isuzu for example are already and have LONG been built in the US.
On that list, Peterbuilt and Kenworth are from U.S. manufacturer Paccar, Inc. in Washington. They also own 2 European truck lines. Many of our customers in the U.S. and Canada are using heavy duty off road worthy Western Star, owned by Daimler. Unfortunately, W.S. is dealing with quality issues and missing parts on most of the chassis's sent to us. Customers are not happy.

As long as the government is shutdown, they can’t release the pedo files…..on the bright side they are still going forward with the $200,000,000 White House ballroom so the rich can dance while the economy burns.

It's almost like this has happened in history before. Did anyone see the Republicans smirking and laughing while rejecting each measure the Dems put forward to roll-back tax cuts for the ultra-rich? Mind-boggling that average people (which republican senators are) are willing to fight tooth and nail for the <1% to get even richer? Make it make sense.
