From Friday, but I didn't have a good internet connection over the weekend.
We had a big group...
I was in the front during the final descent and lost the front wheel on a deceptively wet wooden bridge. Slid off the bridge into the dirt and rocks.
It actually looks worse now along with other scrapes and bruises on my left side and right bicep (which is now purple). On the plus side, this was the first good fall I've had on my left collarbone and it seems ok now. I imagine I was a sight walking through a local supermarket still in full kit, blood dripping from my left arm to buy bandages... I need to have a better first-aid kit in the car. I have one but knew I'd need more for this one. Needless to say, the post ride shower was... fun.
It pissed rain during all of the ride on Sat, so I didn't want to get the phone out of the safety of its bag for any pictures. Not quite as bad as the ride we did at Davis earlier this year, but damn close...
