Arrived a bit late. Was just about to start riding when it started dumping on us...

We attempted to wait it out, but the radar was looking less promising every minute... at least there was a rainbow.

How do you like the fork?

It suits my needs as it lets me keep the front tire a touch firmer than I would when ridged. Out on the beach or snow it’s redundant but if you ride mixed surfaces it’s nice. Ya see, in order for a rigid FB to ride the way I like it to I drop the front tire psi down to like 5. At 5psi it rides great on trail but crap on pavement (or really hard clay). With the lauf I run 7psi and get uniform ride feel w/out a weight penalty. But… it’s NOT what I’d call suspension as it’s not damped.
