Minimal impact for me other than maybe slow my pace down a little bit, or maybe shorten my ride a bit, or maybe avoid the worst climbs a bit, or maybe none of the three or maybe a combo of some or all.Anyone else unmotivated to ride through these heat waves? Uninspired to even get up for the early bird ride. #Ihatesummers
Can't wait till September!
cool stepping stones but i dont recognize them. Isn't that sculpture at 6MR, or just a similar one?Went this morning at 9:00 hoping it'd be cooler. No luck. It was stoopid humid and hot. Even so, it was nice to be in the woods.

Yes, 6MR. At the 4-way intersection at the south end of the board walk, go east. The trail will lead you to a bridge across a stream and eventually to the day camp. Go straight across the day camp field (be respectful of kids) and pick up the trail again next to the sheds. Cross the Run (using stepping stones) and the trail takes you to the fire cut. Take it north to Red trail (or Orange). Everything maintained and burned in nicely.cool stepping stones but i dont recognize them. Isn't that sculpture at 6MR, or just a similar one?
Was all that splatter from that one section of NOX?
That section and upper Eastern Woods that I rode to get to South Park. No rain since Thursday evening but still a lot of of mud and puddles in the usual places on upper Eastern Woods and South Park. More than I expected since Thursday's rain was a single event. Maybe Nox got more. The rest was good. A lot of riders and hikers there today. Was all that splatter from that one section of NOX?
Good stuff up there. Blue Ribbon was not worth the climb up to the top if you're coming from Jackrabbit. If starting at Scott's Cobble, maybe. Lussi and Loggers trail area is good for older-school singletrack.
