Started framing the attic closet. Made everything 8’ for ease of drywalling.

Question, the wall with the tyvek is the exterior wall. The door frame is set flush with the outer board. I had planned to cut the tyvek off and put drywall over the board. Do you think i need to do a furring strip under the drywall? There shouldnt be moisture issues as the new closet will be insulated.

Is that over the garage? Trying to figure out the layout and interesting door location.

I’d insulate it like any other exterior wall. Are there stud bays under the tyvek? I’m having a hard time picturing how the wall is built up.

Good luck, any issues from recent injuries? I took off for 3 years, we've been discussing going overseas to ski/ride. It's amazing how much cheaper it costs in Europe. Kinda like going to Austria to see Taylor Swift...
23 years off for me, I drove past Mountain Creek last winter coming back from the dog park in Vernon and almost had a panic attack just looking at the massive crowd waiting to jump on the lift...I loved skiing, but now it would take me some massive weight loss, fitness improvement to just reconsider getting back on a pair of skis.

If you're considering skiing in Europe I would definitely suggest Dolomites or Austria, it wasn't cheap though but again I never tried it here in the US so I cannot compare.

No issues with the knee though knee pads are now part of every ride. Which just reminded me I need to make sure they will fit under my pants for the winter. Rotator cuff still has some ligaments jumping around but it only really bothers me if I have to yank up hard on the bars to go up a ledge or over a larger log.

Tentatively booked for Banff so a bit cheaper than the US. When my wife comes along nothing is cheap.

If I could only ski Mountain Creek I'd have given up skiing years ago.

Well thankfully, you just go downhill on the ski hill and a machine brings you back up.
Increased weight actually makes you faster (good) but also puts more strain on you joints and makes it harder to stop (bad). I'd rather not ski that being seen snowplowing down a slope...

You will enjoy Colorado - the base elevation are near the peak elevations in utah.
Breck has lift service approaching 13,000
The stuff off the E chair is insane

Copper has solid cruising from the top w/o getting into mogul fields.

Ski like Tomba......

I never could figure out the name, as there weren't many Chinese skiing when I started... But regardless used the reference many times as a scramble to the bottom at Hunter. Some great quotes from this flick. 5ae86a01-743a-4e34-b6e6-df25b3dfb93f_text.gif
