You mean did I buy an Abasi from some POS Millenial that can't be bothered to ship it or Refund my Money? I've had a dispute open with Reverb for a pretty clear case and they're even worse to deal with. They're like, no, the Seller never shipped it but we can't issue a refund until we get the guitar back from you. Fucktards.

Oh shit. I thought you were buying it new. That sucks. Have you tried disputing it through your bank? I’ve had this happen once with PayPal and once with American Express and they were both pretty quick to get my money back.

I've been on the Waitlist for about 2 years now. Tosin sends out an email a day or 2 before guitars go into open stock with a time they'll be live. When you refresh the site it takes 30 minutes and everything is gone. Like buying Taylor Swift Tickets. When I get my money back I'll just order one of the new multi-trem Kiesels and wait a year for it.

What's with these crazy wait times? Are that many people ordering guitars? The pandemic is over but everyone has decided to keep the COVID wait time and surcharge. I ordered my ESP back in August. Granted, its coming from Japan, but still. When I got my Carvin 20yrs ago I only had to wait like a month and a half.

Abasi are super low production guitars. Plus Tosin is the "IT" guy right now so that's a thing. Kiesels are all made to order so that obviously takes time. I have no idea why basic shit like Tim Henson's Nylon string still isn't available. I pre-ordered one 6 months ago through Sweetwater and they just cancelled it becuase there's no release date. Retail is whining about a recession and low numbers but no has product so seriously STFU. No one wants any of the 200 Strats hanging on the wall at GC.

Keep an eye on Kiesel’s in-stock page. They have a decent inventory that updates constantly. Most of them are like demo models they build to showcase at NAMM or somebody couldn’t make their final payment or whatever. Their build times are all over the place so who knows you could get lucky depending on the options you spec. I got mine right around 90 days but I’ve heard of people waiting close to a year. There are certain specs that have to be done by a specific person in the shop so that effects wait times. They can crank out a basic build pretty quick tho.

I do browse through there very once in a while but nothing ever really strikes my fancy. I'd love for them to offer the Jason Becker Osiris again. They sold out in like a day too.

You have to check it regularly, stuff moves really quick because nobody has the patience to wait on a build. I get emails from them probably once a week when new shit goes up.
I love the Osiris but I just can't get into the numbers guitars. I want to love it because, Becker, but I can't get past the sesame street vibes lol. I dunno, maybe I'd actually be able to play if I had giant numbered frets....

I’d rather have his OG signature, the JB200, but if I do buy another guitar it’s probably gonna be the Marc Okubo sig. Super basic - bridge pickup, tone knob delete, hipshot trem, reverse inline headstock 🤤

It's the fastest. By the time one of the higher end guys even responds to me It's already done at CG. I always use the same guy and he's been good, or at least I'm not good enough to notice if it's bad 🤣

Reverb finally refunded my money after being ghosted by the Abasi fucktard. One of my other wish list guitars was still available so I scooped it up. Hopefully this guy is less fucktard than the other guy. Or they, they were a they. A fucktard they.
