More road on a clear morning. So much salt on the roads and most roads had that wet look it gets from the salt. The dirt roads were primo.

Took a ride out to Bokeelia but the pier was still a wreck from the hurricane.

It was supposed to be raining and the radar showed light stuff so dressed for 45 and rain and grabbed the rain bike. Ended up being dry the whole time. I opt’ed for crossing through Baldpate on the ridge trail and there were some really mushy areas that started to jam my fenders. It wasnt deep mud but enough to stick to the tires and It was like riding with the ebrake on as i have minimal clearance. I was just about to stop and clean it out and the mud jam shot out. Hit the tow path on the pa side and diverted to hit this gravel road and there were new private signs everywhere, that actually deterred me, lol. The tow path was soft so jumped back on the road.
Columbia trail was rideable but not enjoyable. Tree removal work trucks made a mess. So did all the hikers and riders who were on the trail earlier this week and left Ruts and deep footprints everywhere.
I had a few muddy spots but mostly it was just soft and added a lot of resistance.
