and its kind of expensive

When I work from home, i find that I'm like 10x more productive. No Water-Cooler chit chat and that steady stream of unwelcome disruptions is gone. Serenity and concentration.

I also find that I get in to such a groove that I will continue working past 5:00...

I have found this to be the case for about 8 years then you can't wait to leave the house.

Christmas as always, stressful time. Was good to see family though. First Christmas without my family driving up doe. Kind of weird. I ate way too much, even to the point that I felt like I was getting fat. I need to get my ass in gear.
I was looking for company on the Chutes and Ladders loop, but no takers. I wasn't at a place where I could make myself hurt solo, so Capers and I decided to rendezvous in the Sourlands. Sadly he has no idea the names on the roads even though he is a local and I had to go looking for him.

Of course he waits for me at the top of a hill.

We roll around for a tad but his breathing is still causing him to die. I think it's time for him to step away for a while. He's going to be in hospital again soon. I thought it was a good ride for coming off of the couch.

Sunday was more of the same, but Jeremy was able to coax the crew to come up to him and take a tour of his trails. Very steep, very climb. Very "dry" though. was like a leafy Round Valley. Fred flatted in the first 5 minutes. Lou broke a pedal on a rock. Even High Bridge was very rideable.

The switchback descent down to the Columbia Trail was pretty sweet. I think because it was steep as shit.
I would like to do this ride again, but I doubt I'll have the time to do it.

I packed up my workbench late Sunday night and reality is starting to kick in. This is happening. 24 days and counting.

We missed you this wknd. on the tour of rocks. Hopefully we can pencil in some dates to ride before you leave.
